Triverus worked with a Life Sciences company on a Data Protection Strategy following the launch of their first commercial product. As part of this engagement, Triverus led the assessment of the client’s information exposure and developed an actionable set of initiatives to address the information protection needs of the client’s growing business.
With their first therapy approved and several promising drugs in various stages of development, the client was experiencing a steep growth trajectory, and as a result, the company’s data environment was growing exponentially in both size and complexity. Like many organizations transitioning from clinical to commercial, this company was looking for assistance to address the Data Liability risks associated with this rapid growth.
Triverus adapted their proven architecture and strategy methodology to identify, prioritize and develop a comprehensive remediation plan to address potential data liability risks. Our partnering approach ensured the results leveraged industry best practices while simultaneously adapting the recommendations to the client’s unique business.
As a result of this initiative, the organization has a comprehensive understanding of its data liability risks and is equipped with an actionable remediation roadmap.
Triverus worked closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand the current state, define desired practices, assess and prioritize gaps, and define initiatives to address each gap. In order to support the prioritization of the recommended initiatives, Triverus established a Risk Index that quantified the potential impact of a vulnerability. Out of over one hundred issues identified, Triverus worked with the client’s business stakeholders to develop a plan for remediation of the top priority issues.
As part of this plan, critical, high and moderate severity issues were identified. Critical issues were to be addressed immediately, followed by a plan to remediate high and moderate severity issues. Triverus remained actively engaged in implementing many of the recommendations.
